              - Emphasize the importance of showing respect, kindness, and consideration for others.

       2. Setting the Ground Rules (5 minutes):

              - Establish a set of ground rules together with the children.                      Examples may include:

                            - One person speaks at a time.

                            - Listen attentively to others.

                            - Use kind and respectful language.

                            - Encourage everyone's participation.

       3. Role Model Exploration (15 minutes):

              - Introduce the concept of positive role models. Explain that these are individuals who demonstrate good manners and positive behaviour in their actions and interactions.

              - Show pictures or provide descriptions of positive role models. They can be famous figures, historical figures, or even people known to the children personally.

              - Discuss the qualities and behaviours that make these individuals positive role models for good manners. Encourage the children to share their observations and thoughts.

       4. Role Model Discussion (20 minutes):

              - Facilitate a discussion about the positive role models presented.

              - Ask the children to share what they admire about these role models and how they demonstrate good manners.

              - Encourage them to discuss specific actions or behaviours that inspire them.

              - Discuss how they can apply these good manners in their own lives and why it is important to do so.

       5. Reflection and Conclusion (5-10 minutes):

              - Summarise the key concepts discussed during the activity, including good manners and positive role models.

              - Ask the children to reflect on what they have learned about good manners and how they can incorporate these behaviours into their own lives.

              - Discuss practical ways they can apply these skills in their daily interactions.

              - Express appreciation for their active participation and willingness to engage in the Role Model Discussion.

Remember, the goal of this activity is to help children develop their social skills and good manners by learning from positive role models. Encourage them to actively listen, share their thoughts, and discuss the qualities and behaviours that inspire good manners. By discussing positive role models, they can gain insights and inspiration to apply good manners in their own lives.
